Volumatic VIDYA Pro: Licensed Derivative with Signals and Dashboard
A blurry client photo identified as an open-source VIDYA script, rebuilt and extended under its share-alike licence.
Variable Index Dynamic Average with ATR bands and flip logic, plus buy/sell labels, pullback re-entries, glow plots, bar colouring, a dashboard and alerts; concept credited and licence preserved.

- Source identified from a blurry photo via the actual published code
- Share-alike licence preserved with credit
- Signals, re-entries, dashboard and alerts added
- Compile-verified on a second engine
The client sent a phone photo of a chart and asked for "that indicator". Rather than guess from colours, the published source was located: it was an open-source Variable Index Dynamic Average script with volume-weighted bands released under a non-commercial share-alike licence. The reliable way to get it right was the actual code, pulled anonymously through TradingView's public script endpoint.
The rebuild keeps the core (VIDYA with its momentum-sensitive smoothing, a moving-average baseline, bands at a multiple of long-window ATR, and a trend flip on source crossing a band) and adds what the client wanted: buy and sell labels on flips, pullback re-entry markers, glow-style plots, bar colouring, a compact dashboard and both alert styles. A first guess at a different script is kept in the folder as a record of the wrong turn.
The licence stays CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 with concept credit to the original author, and the compile check ran on a second Pine-compatible engine before delivery as a .txt file.
How it works
- Match the photo to a published script and fetch its source
- Re-implement the core math in a clean file
- Add signal, re-entry, dashboard and alert layers
- Compile-check and deliver as .txt with licence notes
