Hinglish Audio-Track Pipeline for YouTube
Second-language audio tracks generated locally, phonetically QA'd, time-fitted to the English beats and uploaded as YouTube multi-audio.
Devanagari glossary so English trading terms are pronounced correctly, transcription round-trip with phonetic folding, atempo fitting from rendered beat durations, a per-sentence synthesis fix after a silent 24-second truncation, and the Studio upload steps that actually persist the track.

- Devanagari glossary with phonetic round-trip verification
- Tempo fitting from rendered durations, not nominal lengths
- Truncation bug found by transcription and fixed
- Verified Studio upload sequence
Every video on the channel carries English and Hinglish audio tracks, and YouTube picks the track from the viewer's language setting, not location. Doing this at scale needed a pipeline rather than a studio session. The script for each beat is written in Devanagari including the English words, because the Hindi voice applies Hindi phonetics to whatever glyphs it sees and mangles Latin-script terms like chart or backtest. A glossary check synthesises each term in a carrier sentence, transcribes it back, and compares phonetically with consonant folding and a similarity threshold, since strict spelling matches reject good audio.
Timing is fitted, not trimmed: YouTube offers no trimming for secondary audio, so each Hinglish beat is tempo-adjusted to its English beat's rendered duration, with a rule that anything over 1.25x means the line is too long and must be shortened. A silent failure was found by transcription: the TTS stopped at about 24 seconds per request, returning the first 60 words of 100-word beats while reporting a comfortable fit; synthesis is now one sentence per request and older tracks are audited by words-per-minute.
The upload path in Studio is automated by reference clicks, with the discovery that the dialog's final Update button is mandatory or the whole language row is lost. A channel-wide back-fill inventory tracks every video's stage and verification.
How it works
- English beats are translated into Devanagari Hinglish
- Glossary terms are verified by synthesis and transcription
- Each sentence is synthesised and beats are tempo-fitted
- Track is muxed and QA'd by round-trip transcription
- Studio upload adds the Hindi audio and confirms it is live
