Fitment E-Commerce Rebuild for a Tyre Retailer

A fitment-first storefront prototype for an online tyre retailer, built from a repo audit.

A working prototype with three search paths, fitment matching, faceted filters, and a tyre image-scan flow.

What makes it serious
  • Three search paths: by vehicle, size, and registration plate
  • Fitment matching to prevent wrong-size orders
  • Faceted filters and a tyre image-scan flow
  • Recorded demo videos packaged as bid attachments

A rebuild engagement for an online tyre retailer, scoped from an audit of the client's existing repositories. I delivered a working prototype of a modern, fitment-first tyre store: three ways in — by vehicle, by size, and by registration plate — plus fitment matching, faceted filters, and a tyre image-scan flow for capturing size from a photo.

The prototype was packaged with recorded demo videos sized as bid attachments, so the client could see the full journey working before any commitment. Fitment is the hard part of tyre e-commerce — getting the wrong size to a customer is expensive — so the prototype focused on making that path fast and unambiguous. Client name withheld under the engagement. Scoping the rebuild from an audit of the client's existing repositories meant the prototype spoke directly to their real stack and gaps, so the demo was a credible proposal rather than a generic template.
