Live Booking Flow for a Trades-Booking SaaS

A ServiceM8-style booking prototype for a UK home-trades platform.

A booking flow with postcode validation, service-area matching, technician availability, and a job-payload preview.

What makes it serious
  • Postcode validation and service-area matching
  • Technician availability selection
  • ServiceM8-style job-payload preview
  • Client demo video of the full booking journey

A prototype engagement for a UK home-trades booking platform built around ServiceM8. Instead of starting with backend integration, I built the customer-facing booking flow first: postcode validation, service-area matching, technician availability, and a preview of the ServiceM8-style job payload that would eventually be created. The goal was to prove and sell the end-to-end UX before wiring real OAuth and webhooks.

A client demo video walks through the full journey — enter a postcode, pick a service, choose a slot, and see the job take shape. Building the experience first de-risks the integration work and gives the client something concrete to react to. Client name withheld under the engagement. Proving the flow first also produced a clear specification for the later OAuth and webhook work, so the real integration would not be built blind, and the client could sign off on the experience before paying for engineering.
