Donation Ledger for a Local Festival Committee

A transparent donation-and-receipts ledger for a neighbourhood festival committee.

Record contributions, issue verifiable coded receipts, and track totals for a community festival.

What makes it serious
  • Records individual donations with running totals
  • Issues receipts with verifiable codes
  • Simple enough for non-technical volunteers
  • Client demo video of the full flow

A small, focused engagement for a local festival committee that collects public donations. The ledger lets organisers record each contribution, issue receipts carrying verifiable codes, and track running totals — a lightweight, transparent set of books for a community event where trust and accountability matter more than features.

A client demo video shows the flow end to end: log a donation, generate a coded receipt, and reconcile the total. The design intent was clarity over complexity, so volunteers with no technical background can run it during a busy festival. It is a reminder that useful software is often small and specific. Client name withheld under the engagement. Small, specific tools like this often matter more to a community than a feature-rich platform nobody has time to learn during a busy event, which is exactly why the design favoured clarity over cleverness.
